I've always wanted a thermometer that is non contact and super fast (1 second ). I've always thought this was the best way to get a reading fast, especially when you have a sick kid and all you want to do is know if they have a fever or not. Plus it makes it so much better to get your kids temperature if they are sleeping because you don't need to wake them up! You just pull and hold down the trigger for a bit, then let go and you have your temp. The extra that you get with this thermometer is it also reads room temperature and liquid temperature. So you can always tell if it's hotter in one room or in another room and put up a fan if needed. Checking the temperature of a hot drink or soup for your kids is something else this thermometer can do. You don't want to give your little one something that's to hot to eat or drink. Now you can be sure it won't burn there little mouths. You can also check the bath water. If it needs to be wormed up you can add warmer water right away, if it's to hot you can cool it off fast so not to burn your skin or your kids skin.
It takes 2 AAA battery's to run it. You can switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit as well as switching between forehead, objects and liquid. It has a memory up to 20 previous temperatures. It's hospital grade quality, has a 5 year full warranty and it's FDA Approved. There is a call center so should you need help you can call them with your problem and get help with it. The thermometer comes with a nice blue velvet bag with draw strings for storage and caring around. The instructions are easy to read and they really help to understand how to use it, especially if you have never used a thermometer like this one. I've had no trouble using it at all. We have used it for everything it can be used for already. It's great not to over heat the bathtub with water that's way to hot to sit in or have a drink be so hot you can't drink it. RECOMMEND!
